Re: Bernard Cribbins...
in 76 or 77 I walked past a half open side door at Victoria Station & happened to look in. There was Bernard in the process of putting on a pair of trousers. He stopped and looked at me, I continued on my way.

Worked with Mr Cribbins a couple of times back in the 80's and got to know him well for several years more - he's a good fella. Not like some arseholes I could mention. Hope he's well and expecting a few more years.

Yeh, Cribbins was alright. Still is hopefully.
I’ll ave a butchers at that film. Love anything filmed on location that show old shots of London (from 60s/70s/80s). Especially the East End ones.

Can’t vouch for Spike Milligan’s tennis credentials but can confirm he was a squash player.
Met him coming off court at the University of Western Australia sports centre in the early 80’s.
Think he must have been in Perth for something to do with the Festival of Perth as it’s a long way to go for a game.

Always like the Cribbins, he was great in the movie version of Dangerous Davies.

Well worth a watch and some great scenes of early 80,s London.

Hats off to you Bernard.

Back in '62 when comedy records were a thing, as an 8 year old I bought three of his singles on the trott. Gossip Calypso, Hole in the Ground and Right Said Fred. All good 'uns.

He was great in two Peter Sellers films - Two Way Stretch and Wrong Arm of the Law.

And Cribbins has never been bad in anything.

Why no knighthood for a NATIONAL TREASURE?
